The Age of Jackson Political Cartoons Bill Project
Overview: Does Jackson deserve to be on the 20 dollar bill? This is a question that is debated to this day. You will be designing a new 20 dollar bill based off of the three topics listed below. Please refrain from copying political cartoon images that already exist. You can use political cartoons as inspirations, but please do not duplicate it. This should be an original piece of artwork just as if you were hired by the Federal Reserve to redesign the 20 dollar bill.

Requirements:
- You must include 6-8 images/drawings relating to the topic on your bill (2 sided bill so 3-4 images per side. Can be done digitally using photoshop if you choose rather than hand drawn, however the images need to be quality)
- You must explain the meaning of the individual images/drawings on a separate document.
- Explain what overall message you want to convey with this new 20 dollar bill.
- Explain why you thought it was important to add this image/drawing to your 20 dollar bill.
- example: An image of Jackson standing on a document that is titled The Constitution. This would represent the lack of respect Jackson had for our form of government or how he neglected to enforce the decision of the Supreme Court.

Andrew Jackson hated the idea of the Bank of the United States. He thought it wasn’t fair to the poor people. He wanted to destroy it. The many-headed monster is the states, who are fighting Jackson to keep the bank. Jackson raises a cane that says “veto” while Martin Van Buren aids Jackson by holding a tetra head.
